SUMMARY:Summit Farms Hands-on Hedgerow Demonstration Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join Summit Farms for a hands-on look at how thoughtful hedgerow design can create big benefits for the farm and surrounding ecosystem! \nWe’ll explore site preparation techniques and walk through how this hedgerow is being designed to expand wildlife habitat\, support crop production\, and protect water quality. Come learn how a single planting can serve multiple purposes on the farm and get inspired to put these ideas to work on your own land. \nFunding for this project is provided by Thurston County and Western Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education. \nLearn more and register here! \nQuestions? Contact Kiana Sinner\, ksinner@thurstoncd.com
