Soil Health Ambassador

Do you know someone, maybe a neighbor, family member, coworker, or even yourself, who’s doing thoughtful work to care for their soil? We’re looking to learn from farmers who put good stewardship into practice every day. It’s a way to recognize good stewardship and share real, on-farm experience so others can see what’s working and try it themselves.

Soil Health Ambassadors are featured in a short WaSHI video and blog post on the WaSHI website and newsletter. They are a resource for other producers who may also want to try a practice, but still have more questions than answers.

Ambassadors receive a one-time $1,000 stipend in appreciation for their time and energy.

By sharing a name, you’re helping us recognize Washington farmers who are making soil health a priority and giving others a chance to learn practical ways to support healthy, productive soils.
