Next Generation Farmer Fund

The National Young Farmers Coalition is excited to announce the Next Generation Farmer Fund, a $1 million+ initiative providing direct financial support and technical assistance to beginning farmers and ranchers under the age of 40 who are stewarding land through sustainable farming practices.

The Next Generation Farmer Fund will provide $10,000–$50,000 grants, including conservation technical assistance, to young farmers and ranchers across the country. Projects may focus on soil health, water management, energy use, and biodiversity and should make a meaningful impact on both the farm or ranch operation and the land.

This program is made possible through a $500K dollar-for-dollar match from Whole Foods Market, which is available until November 30, 2026. We are currently seeking additional partners and donations to help us meet this match.
