Advancing Agroforestry in the Pacific Northwest Webinar

Join Abel Kloster of the Center for Rural Livelihoods and Carrie Brausieck of Agroforestry Northwest for a FREE webinar exploring the potential of agroforestry to address important natural resource priorities in Oregon and Washington.
This webinar is designed for Oregon and Washington Natural Resources Conservation Service personnel and will also be relevant to other natural resource professionals, agricultural service providers, conservation partners, and farmers interested in applying agroforestry practices across the region.
The presenters will discuss how agroforestry can improve biodiversity and wildlife habitat, strengthen regional food systems and farm resilience, support climate mitigation and adaptation, and integrate trees and shrubs into farms, ranches, and other working lands.
The webinar will also introduce a recent project led by the Center for Rural Livelihoods to develop an educational video series and a regional agroforestry planning handbook. These resources are intended to help agricultural professionals and producers evaluate, plan, establish, and manage agroforestry systems suited to the landscapes and production systems of Oregon and Washington.
