Join the WSU Tree Fruit Research and Extension Center and USDA-ARS Wenatchee for a field day Thursday Sept 23, 2026. This file day will feature the new Tree Fruit Soil Health Long Term Agricultural Research and Extension (LTARE) site. The Tree Fruit LTARE site features two experiments focused on developing management systems that optimize fruit yield and quality through sustainable soil health management practices. This year we will visit our second experiment where we are identifying long-term sustainable approaches to manage soil borne disease and nematodes.

Format: Participants will be in groups and rotate through stations highlighting different research projects. Small groups will allow you a chance to discuss with researchers and peers.
