Are you interested in learning how to assess your soil health? Are you confused by laboratory tests, and want something more hands-on?

Join us for a FREE In-Field Soil Health Assessment Training, brought to you by your state soil health partners Washington State Department of Agriculture, Center for Technical Development, and the Natural Resources Conservation Service.

What: In-Field Soil Health Assessment Training, complete with demos, hands-on experience, and guidance from Washington scientists and farmers

When: August 6th from 10am-2pm, with an optional farm tour after

Where: An organic farm in Curtis, Washington

Prerequisites: All participants must complete the online course Soils 101: Learning Soil Science to Build Soil Health by July 31st

Cost: Free!

Who: All are welcome to register, though space is limited and priority will be given to CD and NRCS staff in need of planner credits

If you can’t make this date, don’t fret! The training will be offered each year in the Spring and Fall, on both sides of the Cascades.
